Mahabharata26th Jan 11 An epic revisited through fashion, music and dance. Mahabharata revisited is a Contemporary representation of the epic where it comes alive in the perfect blend of music, fashion and dance. Unlike a dance recital or a fashion show, here the characters come alive as an admixture of dance movements that also flaunt designer clothes and jewellery as a part of the choreography. The music is a heady dosage of Timeless Indian Classical flavour that comes alive under the magic wand of director Pt. Tanmoy Bose. Thus Timeless Indian Classical music seamlessly merges with choreographed movements with fashionable attire and jewellery, form, a never-seen-before experience. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised by the modern audio-visual interpretation of the episodes of Kach-Debjani, Karna-Kunti, Draupadi, Shakuntala, Gandhari, Brihannala and Hirimba. The entire presentation is conceived and designed by Pt. Tanmoy Bose and Neelanjana Ghose. The characters will be enacted by Alokananda Roy, Pallavi Chatterjee, June Maliah, Locket Chatterjee, Wardah Rihab, Kunal Padhi, Mrinmoyee Dey and Rony Chakraborty. Faces of India - The name comes from a composition which has all the 4 elements "Nritya", "Geet", "Vadya" and "Bol". This is a production designed by Tanmoy featuring 4 faces of India, Mallika Sarabhai, Sobhna,  Debashri and Tanmoy.

One of the foremost musicians of the contemporary scenario of World Music Tanmoy is an indispensable member in the world of rhythm. Born to a family of connoisseurs he first took his talim from the none other than Late Kenai Dutta and after his demise Tanmoy became a Gandabandh Shagird of none else than Pt Shankar Gosh. His Continuous association with Utstad Amjad Ali Khan  and pt Ravi Shankar confirms his mastery over his subject whereas his exposure to the world music projects around the globe has helped hims creativity to widen even more. His own creation DHWANI based on virtues of Indian Rhythmic Nuances created a stir four years back while in the year 2002 his venture on cross cultural rhythm TAALTANTRA won the hearts of the connoisseurs and critics.
